Our Last Day

During the Frontier Days celebration they have parades every other morning through downtown. We had not been yet, so this was our morning. It was the typical small town parade. Lots of horses, tractors, and cars. They had a few interesting floats, like one in tribute to the last man legally hung in Cheyenne. My brother had his picture taken with Sam Houston, the 1st President of The Republic of Texas! It also happens to be the college he graduated from. Funny running into him at the parade!

After the parade my parents and siblings got packed up and left for the rest of their trip. We decided to go to Ft. Collins, CO. There is a place called Fort Fun there that had been calling Jason and Nate's name all week. It had go karts, putt-putt golf, big slides, batting cages, bumper boats, games, laser tag and probably some more things I can't remember. We did a few things, but most of the day was focused on the go karts. The boys, all of them were in heaven. It was a kind of long day but we had a good time. Emma was really good the whole day which made it easy. I was glad we stayed the extra day and spent some more time with Holly. Jason spent 2 weeks trying to convince me to move to Cheyenne he loved it that much. I must admit it would be great to live near my sisters. I miss them being around, especially now that they are all adults!
