On the way out to Cheyenne we spent a day in Omaha, NE. We visited Winter Quarters, a church history site. The last time I was there my grandparents were serving a mission. There was only a little house used as a visitors center and no temple. It was great to follow the history of the church migration to the west. We walked through the Mormon Cemetery and around the temple. It is a beautiful and peaceful area hidden right off a main road. We also went downtown where they had a bronze statue wagon train a block long. It was amazing!

Winter Quarters
