For the past several years we have been in Texas for the month of June and this year Zach said he wanted to stay home and have a friend birthday party. He decided that a baseball game was they way to go. It was a hectic night, but well worth it to see him so happy. He started off the game by throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, then got his ball signed. The kids mostly ran around the play area and grassy section. However Jason and our neighbor Dave were very much into the game. We had hot dogs, pizza, soda, cake, glow sticks, pop rocks and flags! The game was pretty slow going until about the 7th inning when they decided to actually play. The Freedom won! After all the Friday night games they have fireworks, another bonus that made the night wonderful.
