Saturday, we spent most of the day hanging out with family at Jennifer's house. It was really good to visit with Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bill. It has been a long time since we have seen them. We also got to visit with Jason's Aunt Darla and Kallyn. I think it has been even longer since we have seen them. Jason's Uncle Doug and Grandma Rose were there too. I am glad we had the time to sit and visit with so many relatives that we do not see very often.

Then off to the wedding we all went. Dow and Jennifer were married at Dow's moms house. It was a beautiful home in the hill country of Austin. You could even see the Texas capital building from the backyard. The ceremony was short and simple. It was a grand affair, but they managed to make it seem very down to earth. We stayed up late, leaving around midnight, and even the kids were still going. We ate, drank(lots of water), danced and only had one casualty. Zach managed to lose one sock to the bottom of the pool. The story is that the wind blew it in!!
Sunday morning we met the family back at Jennifer's house for a Morris brunch. We said our goodbyes to those that had to get on the road. Then Jennifer and Dow opened all their presents. They got some great gifts. They had to immediately open the ice cream maker and try it out. It made great milkshakes! Ashley had a great time with all of Aunt Jenni's bows. Jason and I then drove to San Antonio to drop off his rental car. He ended up staying in Austin for work the next week. It was a loooong weekend.
